Answer first
A rejection notice rarely proves one universal reason. Pause before submitting several new applications. Confirm whether the lender needs missing or clearer documents; recalculate commitments using the same income basis shown in your evidence; inspect your own credit records; and ask the lender what information it can provide. Correct factual errors, reduce an unaffordable request or wait until evidence is stable. Never present a DSR result as an approval threshold because institutions define income and commitments differently.
Malaysian example
Mei’s variable income was not supported by consistent statements. She organises the requested records and tests a smaller commitment before deciding whether another application is sensible.
