Answer first
CCRIS is Bank Negara Malaysia’s central credit-reference information system. It is a record used in credit assessment, not a public “blacklist” and not an approval score. Start by obtaining your own record through the official eCCRIS service. Check that facilities, balances and payment information belong to you, then raise a discrepancy through the reporting institution’s documented channel. A clean-looking record does not guarantee approval: lenders may consider income, commitments, documents and their own policies. If you are preparing an application, review the record early enough to resolve genuine errors and build a realistic repayment budget.
Malaysian example
Farah sees a facility she does not recognise. She saves the report date and account details, contacts the named reporting institution and keeps the case reference instead of applying repeatedly.
